Canada Waterfowl Hunting Trip

Accommodations

Accommodations are in a nearby small town in a recently renovated 5 bedroom 2 bathroom house. It has an excellent layout and plenty of space to kick back and relax. Accommodations are clean and comfortable and a short drive from most of our hunts. Our lodge as we like to call it has all the amenities of a typical house (natural gas heating, hot running water, cable tv, etc) yet is in a rural community with less than 200 residents so it is quiet and relaxing.

Meals

As our guests, you will experience gourmet meals of naturally raised beef and a taste of the local cuisine. We always warn guests that this is not a weight loss camp as there is lots of good food that our cooks take great pride in preparing. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.

A Typical day at the Lodge

The day starts off usually around 3:30-4:00 am with a light breakfast which typically includes fresh fruit, cereal, toasted bread or bagels, muffins and coffee or tea. After the morning hunt we return to the lodge and have a hot dinner and recount the morning hunts highlights. There is an opportunity to relax and take a nap while your guides clean birds and ready the equipment for the afternoon hunt which we typically depart for around 2:00-3:00 pm or later depending on the hunt specifics. Supper will be ready upon you returning from the afternoon hunt. After supper, spend your evening relaxing at the house, freshening up with a hot shower or out by the fire (weather permitting), sharing stories of the day’s action.
